Olivia + Jimmy | San Francisco Engagement

When Olivia first booked, she casually asked if we could just dream up what it would look like for us to shoot their engagement session in the city where this love story began: San Francisco. It took me all of maybe 2 hours to research dates, flights, locations, etc. to get back to her with a resounding: “THIS IS SO DOABLE OMG LET’S FREAKIN’ DO IT GIRL!”

The entire trip was an actual dream come true. Blair and I were straight up giddy as we taxi’ed across the Golden Gate Bridge to be greeted with delicious late night Peruvian food at the most beautiful home in Sausalito. Yeah. We were spoiled. The next morning, we woke bright and early to hit the town! Jimmy and Olivia first met and fell in love in this bustling city, only 6 months before Olivia moved back to SD. It’s a land of nostalgia for them, so it was only right that we made sure to hit up the most iconic SF spots.

We started our day by exploring the farmers market down at the Embarcadero, picking up some fresh flowers, iced coffee, and oysters for lunch by the Bay Bridge. Next, we cruised to the top of Lombard street, where we captured a full view of the zigzag street leading toward town. Bonus? THOSE BLOOMIN’ HYDRANGEAS! Summer must have followed us from San Diego. It was breathtaking.

After going back to Sausalito to nap our faces off, Olivia and Jimmy fancied themselves up just in time for us to catch twilight up on the hills overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. It could not have been a more perfect time of day or gentle, cotton candy sky for these two. It was everything we’d all been dreaming of since day one!

The entire weekend had me speechless. And not just because it was a rare, gorgeous sunny few days in SF. The experience was beyond taking gorgeous photos. Olivia and Jimmy spoiled us with their company, their warmth, their hospitality, and delicious foods… and drinks. HOLLA. We can’t wait to tell you more about these two and their journey together. They’re New Year’s Day wedding is going to be one for the books!!
